David, thank you for taking the time to comment and check out my site. Those that have witnessed any atrocities have been changed forever. Those of us that have not personally witnessed any atrocities in our lifetimes are fortunate. Those of us who are "Second Generation Survivors", are affected in deep ways forever, as well.
I hope you will be able to read my book, share it with others and pass on our messages.
Thank you, Nancy

God Bless....let us never forget...my Father was in the Arny in world war 2, was part of the occupation army...was right up by Hitlers tomb with Russian soliders...to this day my father has a very negative out look about Germans, always told me Germans have no souls...and we should never trust them...just a soliders impressions and from what he saw..he saw the starved Jew and French, because of the Nazis,,and while the Germans in the surrounding towns were all fat and just ignored what was going on in the camps...

Hello. Very interesting site and you lead a very interesting discussion. There is a nice atmosphere here and I'm sure I will often read your posts.
From time to time I will also try to write something interesting.

Nancy, Your book was excellent! Including the pictures helped me visualize the people in my mind. Both of your parents endured so much. Your father was such an intelligent and extraordinary man. This is a book that I want both of my sons to read. I would also like to share it with my mother and sisters. I want to purchase a signed copy to keep. I will donate this one to the Forest Park Library.

Hello,
I'm looking forward to reading this memoir. I'm fascinated by the will to survive that people like your father possessed under such brutal conditions. I read everything I can on the Holocaust because I believe it's so important to pass this information on to our own children. Thanks for sharing.
