Dear Nancy

It was great to meet you on Big Island.

Thank you so much for your book which I read within one week.

The story is very touching, ecpecially when I imagine that also our grandparents here in Germany and especially Toms in CZ experienced these evil times. And of course it also affects our lifes because the history is still close. Your parents were unbelievably lucky in so many situations.

I can empathize how much it means to you and how hard it must have been for your whole family to work your personal hiStory up. I hope it also brings peace to you.

Very kind regards from
Mareike & Thomas

Wonderful Nancy;
How great it must have felt to unlock the archives of the past . We must always remember and teach the past to stop it in the future; Ukraine leaflets.
I'll be in touch---Rick

What a compelling story of the Ringel family! There's much heartbreak, kindness and love in the pages. I'm especially impressed with Nancy's diligence in drawing the story from so many sources, taking many years in the process. But most of all, it was written with great love. Thank you, Nancy, for your family's story.

David, thank you for taking the time to comment and check out my site. Those that have witnessed any atrocities have been changed forever. Those of us that have not personally witnessed any atrocities in our lifetimes are fortunate. Those of us who are "Second Generation Survivors", are affected in deep ways forever, as well.
I hope you will be able to read my book, share it with others and pass on our messages.
Thank you, Nancy
We all must never forget.

God Bless....let us never forget...my Father was in the Arny in world war 2, was part of the occupation army...was right up by Hitlers tomb with Russian soliders...to this day my father has a very negative out look about Germans, always told me Germans have no souls...and we should never trust them...just a soliders impressions and from what he saw..he saw the starved Jew and French, because of the Nazis,,and while the Germans in the surrounding towns were all fat and just ignored what was going on in the camps...
